About the Role
We have multiple roles to fill within the Strategic Partnerships & Growth unit. Caldera is building a team of professionals who will drive her next phase of commercial expansion in Nigeria and subsequent forays into other African countries.
Lettings® by Caldera is evolving from a high‑growth startup into an institutional‑grade PropTech ecosystem. We’re rolling out category‑defining products—Marquee Group Stays, Shared Occupation Stays, and Automated Hospitality Revenue Services—and we need strategic professionals to accelerate our next phase of scale.
The mandate: Secure the next 2,000+ units by acquiring large‑scale portfolio owners, institutional landlords, and property developers. You will sit at the intersection of dealmaking, enterprise partnerships, and technical execution—turning complex product capability into commercial advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic
- Institutional Acquisition
- Identify, pitch, and close “Marquee” partners across developers, REITs, family offices, and multi‑unit asset owners (20+ units)
- Unlock long‑horizon, multi‑asset pipeline deals that materially expand our footprint
- Marketplace Strategy
- Evolve our 1,200+ host base from a monolithic list into a structured, two‑sided marketplace spanning “Apartments” and “Hosted Stays”
- Shape segmentation, positioning, and value delivery across partner categories
- Revenue Architecture
- Collaborate deeply with Product & Engineering to refine the Hospitality Fee engine
- Prove and articulate yield uplift through our hybrid hospitality model—turning “listing management” into a recurring revenue service
- Trust, Safety & Institutional Readiness
- Own and scale the Verification Tier strategy that underpins institutional trust
- Ensure that both hosts and guests operate within an enterprise‑grade safety and compliance framework
What We're Looking For
Essential
- A Commercial–Technical Translator
- You intuitively understand how a business requirement maps into a workflow, API, or status logic—and why features like “Coming Soon” matter for institutional lead capture
- High‑Stakes Track Record (5–10 years)
- Proven experience in Commercial Real Estate, PropTech expansion (e.g., Airbnb, Blueground), Asset Management, or Investment Banking—preferably in roles tied to revenue, partnerships, or structured growth
- Yield‑Driven Mindset
- You don’t sell “listings”; you sell ROI. You know how to model, position, and close deals that maximise partner yield while increasing our recurring revenue base
